About

a little about about me and the role to be played by engineers in a changing world

About

I am an engineer by training. I have a Master of Engineer degree (Imperial College London, UK) and am about to complete my PhD (University of British Columbia) in clean combustion this Fall (2009). I am looking for work in companies with a technical stake in energy provision. The problem of energy supply is vast, complex, nuanced and somewhat nebulous- and that challenge is something I revel in. I look forward to working with companies which are integral to solving the energy conundrum, be it for stationary power provision or the transport sector.

My professional memberships are listed below and my training to date will allow me to be a registered Chartered Engineer (UK) and/or Professional Engineer (Canada, BC) within two years of starting work.
